Celebrating 100
Years of Impact
For 100 years, you’ve amplified our work to provide what’s needed, where it’s needed. Help us shape a future full of promise for all.
Help Us Shape the Future
We’ve served our community for 100 years—and we’re doing it better every day. The United For Our Futures campaign will amplify investment in strategic initiatives that drive our racial, economic, and social equity work, ensuring that opportunities are more equitable and accessible for everybody who calls this region home.
We are investing beyond ourselves. We’re investing in tomorrow’s opportunities, including:
Expanding our Family Centers that provide affordable, high-quality childcare, early education, and a wide range of resources and support for families;
Supporting resident-led, grassroots community change driven by our Neighbors United initiative;
Providing more students of color with guided, supportive pathways to the future of their dreams through our Young Men United educational and earning equity program;
Reaching more veterans who need help navigating their return to civilian life through the Veterans Treatment Court;
Amplifying the voices and power of local leaders who are strengthening lives and communities with the Changemaker Challenge and the Lonely Entrepreneur platform

United Way of Central Maryland Brick Wall
We invite you to join the hundreds of people who have added their names to our digital recognition wall, created to honor supporters of our 100th anniversary in 2025.
“We’ve chosen to make a $1 million planned gift to United Way of Central Maryland because we believe that United Way has the leadership, the drive, and the tenacity to help Greater Baltimore realize the best version of itself. Our family believes that of those to whom much is given, much is required.”
— Freeman & Jackie Hrabowski
“We believe United Way of Central Maryland makes a critical impact in our community. A few years ago, we made a significant gift to the endowment to help power its mission in the future. And now to celebrate the 100th anniversary, we have made—and hope others will join us in making—a gift to help drive United Way’s mission for the next 100 years.”
— Joanne & Mark Pollak
